This is not a smaller version of the others. It is a different product built for one thing. Low walls so you can load dense material over the side by barrow instead of walking every piece round to the door.

It is $350 with 5.5 tons included already in the price across 3 days, which is the opposite of how the metered sizes work. Fill has a predictable weight, so it gets bundled rather than metered.

It reaches that weight allowance at roughly half full and that is by design. A container of solid concrete filled to the rim could not legally leave your property.
What Broken Slab Weighs, And Why It Matters
Half full is a full load
About 5.5 tons included of solid concrete takes up roughly 2.75 cubic yards in a container measuring about 5.8. You will hit the weight limit somewhere near halfway up the walls, and that is normal rather than a sign you have done something wrong.
What A Fill Load Costs
A 7 Yard Heavy Material is $350, and that price already contains 5.5 tons included across 3 days.
This is the only container where the tonnage is bundled rather than metered, because dense fill has a weight you can predict. There is no per ton meter running underneath up to the included allowance. Extra days are $20.

Concrete And Heavy Fill Questions
Can you put concrete in a dumpster?
Yes, in a fill container, and the load has to be clean. Ours is the 7 yard at $350 with 5.5 tons included, and it takes fill material only: concrete, dirt, sod and asphalt.
Clean means clean. Fill goes to a different facility from general waste, so a single bag of household trash in the load gets the whole thing turned away when it arrives and you pay for the trip regardless.
How much concrete fits in a 7 yard dumpster?
Around 5.5 tons included worth, which is roughly 2.75 cubic yards of solid slab. The container measures about 5.8 cubic yards, so you will be near the weight limit at about half height.
That is not the container being small. It is concrete being heavy enough that a full one could not legally be driven away.
Can you put dirt in a dumpster?
Yes, in the 7 yard fill container, along with sod, spoil and turf. It cannot go in the metered sizes with general waste.
Wet soil is considerably heavier than dry, so a rained-on excavation pile weighs more than the same volume looked like it would.
Why can concrete not be mixed with other debris?
Because it goes somewhere different. Clean fill is taken to a fill site, general waste goes to a licensed landfill, and the two are not interchangeable.
A fill load with timber or bagged trash in it gets rejected at the gate. Then it comes back, and you have paid for a trip that achieved nothing.
Do I need a bigger container for a driveway tear out?
Usually the opposite. A driveway is a lot of tonnage in not much volume, so the limiting factor is weight and the 7 yard is already built around that.
